Healthy future - our present
Positive animation project „Healthy Future" is a positive animation preventive health program, which is designed to maintain and enhance children‘s and family health. With the help of modern technology in animated health programs, playful characters are inviting children to do special excercises, which are useful to improve the structure of a child's movement. The team of „iHealthy Future" which is successfully developing the project for two years now, is organizing a conference „A healthy future - our present" for teachers and children about health maintenance and disease prevention on 7 of April at the kindergarten „Žolynėlis" in Vilnius. It will focus on health issues and prospects for the prevention of diseases of children and children supervisory staff knowledge. In order, that this information is disseminated widely and made available to distant edges of Lithuania, the conference can be monitored via the internet.
Sedentary lifestyle and classes, time spent at the computer, wearing of backpacks - these are the factors that have negative impact on a child‘s developing movement aparatus. Therefore, the reception of such load may eventually be a serious cause of a back pain. This type of health problem srarts from childhood and adolescence and the consequences and exacerbations only later appear. Therefore, precautionary measures must be taken in childhood, in order to avoid much more serious ailments in an older age.
„Examination of animation effects on children, and that animation as a form of education becomes easy to understand and fun, it was decided to teach children to take care of their own health interactively through colorful characters" says the health programs "Healthy Future" project author Nerijus Brazdžiūnas - physiotherapist, DVD "Health morning" author, member of Lithuanian Society of Pediatrics. „Lithuanian educational institutions and the technical base allow high-quality programs broadcast.
